A local match at the Town Arms last night 18th April, with Selkirk A being considered the home team for league purposes. The result was 2½-1½ for the B team, with Ian Thompson and Steve Leckie recording wins, and Martin Keen on board 1 securing the draw against Dave Bogle.

Three fixtures involving Selkirk teams and the NHS have been rescheduled, as follows. Please note that all three fixtures will be played on WEDNESDAYS, at the BGH
- Selkirk A v NHS, originally scheduled for 23 May 2023, will now be played on Wed 07 Jun
- NHS v Selkirk B, originally scheduled for 01 Feb 2023, will now be played on Wed 03 May
- Selkirk B v NHS, originally scheduled for 04 Apr 2023, will now be played on Wed 28 Jun

Selkirk Chess Club meet every Tuesday at 7pm in the Town Arms, just off Selkirk Square. As you can see, we occupy a fairly spacious room above the main bar of the Town Arms. It is a friendly club, and we always welcome new chessplayers.
