Gala v Selkirk A
On Tuesday night 9th May, the Focus Centre saw a well-contested match between Gala and Selkirk A, with the Selkirk team coming out winners 2½-1½. Dave Bogle got the full point against Martin Wallace, as did Bill Miller against Rob Crosbie. On board 2 John Moore faced newcomer John Feechan and they agreed a draw after a hard game.
