15 Feb 2024: Kelso v Selkirk now on 19th March
The "away" match between Kelso and Selkirk was originally schedules for the 20th of February. You may have had the memo that it had been rescheduled for the 12th of March. It has been rescheduled again - and it will now be played on the 19th March.
15 Feb 2024: BICC and Club news
A result from the Championship section of the BICC. Martin Wallace has won his third round match, defeating Dave Bogle in a lively game. In the Selkirk Championship, three games were played on Tuesday evening: Sam Cornwell beat Kevin Poulton; John Moore beat Bill Miller; and Alan Miles and Chris Nathan drew their game.

As you can see, we occupy a fairly spacious room above the main bar of the Town Arms. It is a friendly club, and we always welcome new chessplayers.
