19 Nov 2024: Two BICC matches: Armstrong v Bogle, and Cornwell v Young

Two games were played in the Borders Individual Championships last night.  In the Premier section Dave Bogle beat Alan Armstrong, and in the Minor section Sam Cornwell beat Russell Young.  In addition, Alan Armstrong and Gordon Christie have played their 2nd round match in the Premier section with Gordon coming out on top.

Next matches in the Borders League are on Tuesday 26 November:  Selkirk A play Selkirk B in the Town Arms;  and Gala are at home to Kelso in the Waverley Bowling Club.

19 Nov: Club news: Steve Leckie and Tam Wylie in Championship

One game was played last in the The Selkirk Championship.  After a very hard struggle, Steve Leckie won the point against Tam Wylie and now moves to 2½/4. Details are on the Club News page...
