18 Feb 2025: Gala v Selkirk A:  2-2 draw

On Tuesday 18 February Selkirk A travelled to Gala's new home at Waverley Bowling Club to play their Borders League match.  The result was a draw, with some fascinating games.  The result hinged on the last match to finish: Gala's Gerry Johnstone versus Mark Gardiner.  This went the distance, with the players agreeing a draw with only 3 minutes left on each clock.   Martin Wallace and Dave Bogle played a short but complex draw, while Gordon Christie beat Selkirk's Bill Miller, and Geoff Hope evened the score for Selkirk by beating Rob Crosbie.
